A set up with a smaller motor with more power less gears and a chain drive mounted to a hub freewheel for INDEPENDENT freewheeling power OR pedal or both would make more sense for efficiency and not having the cranks have to turn when under power.The cyclone would even be a better option... http://tinyurl.com/pv2ct
