Segway E-Stand

This video demonstrates how the Segway will stand upright while parked.

It occured to me that an interesting feature that could be added to the new Segways is a biometric key, such as a thumb print recognition. And the Segway computer will know who you are and if you have authorization to ride, it will unlock its mechanism.

And perhaps tied in with that feature could be an alarm system which has, perhaps, an audible warning, telling the person to stop. And the Segway may even have a built in cell phone which can call your cell phone and voice to you that someone is tampering with it.
